TimberLift

TimberLift is a research-based fabrication project that investigates robotic machining strategies for optimizing timber joints in cantilevered furniture. Using an ABB robotic arm and stress-informed cylindrical joints, the project enhances structural performance while reducing material waste through standardized double-sided machining and adaptive grain alignment.
